Abstract:
The article presents, in a seminal way, the notion of a cartsonography, amannerof considering music by its sonorous regions. For this purpose, it intends to establish a relationship of proximity between Nietzsche and Debussy. Regarding the philosopher, it seeks to comprehend the idea of a South in music, and regarding the composer, in turn, it investigates the ways in which he laid down a new direction for music in a search for French sonorities. Furthermore, both have in common a route that leads from adherence to rupture with Wagner.
