Abstract
The present article focuses on examining the pedagogical technologies of governance of the self, carried out in a culturally oriented curriculum. Thus, the analysis is situated in the theoretical and methodological field of discourse studies, from a Foucauldian perspective, and its relation to the production of subjectivities. The analysis of the empirical material, which comprised 138 reports of pedagogical experiences linked to the cultural curriculum of physical education, allowed us to infer the occurrence of pedagogical technologies of governance of the self, which encourage participation in and reflection on the subjects of education in a way that, through a link between codes of behavior and a morality directed, in some dimension, to ethics, generate democratic and multicultural subjectivities.
