RESPONSIBLE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract

This systematic review seeks to identify which methodological procedures are adopted in empirical studies on responsible research and innovation in the field of education. In total, 5 theses, 3 dissertations and 31 scientific articles were extracted from the databases of the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações [Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations], SciELO, ERIC and the Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Capes [Theses and Dissertations Catalog of Capes]. After analyzing these studies using the Mendeley software, only 19 met the inclusion criteria. It can be concluded that more research is required on this topic in the field of education, in order to build a society in which the aim of research and innovation practices will be to produce sustainable, ethically acceptable and socially desirable results.
