Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the use of gender equity and decoloniality approaches in pedagogical experiences at alternative institutions of basic education in three Colombian cities. The methodology was qualitative and involved the design of analytical categories and the construction of information with primary sources, such as open interviews, observation recorded in photographs and field journals. One of the relevant findings is that some teachers associate gender equality with the exercise of sexuality or the sexual diversity of their students.
