A greenhouse experiment was carried out aiming to observe the effect of different phosphorus and zinc combinations on dry matter production of dryland rice as well to measure phosphorus and zinc accumulation in the plant. It were used samples of dark red latosol cerrado soil with 2.1ppm of P and 0.5ppm of Zn, in plastics containers with 3kg. The treatments were four phosphorus doses (O, 30, 60 e 90ppm P -source superphosphate triple) and four zinc doses (0; 1.25; 2.5 and 5.0ppm Zn - source sulphate zinc) applied in the soil. The experiment was a 4x4 factorial and randomized block design with four replications. It were used IAC-165 rice variety. The results indicated the dry matter production increased with raiser doses of P and Zn. That soil applied phosphorus increased its accumulation and content the zinc in plant, and whereas reduced concentration the zinc on the plant and the soil, while applied Zn on the soil increased its accumulation and reduced the concentration and the accumulation of phosphorus in the plant. The translocation of phosphorus and zinc were'nt affected in the treatments.
