The reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis) is an important pathogen of many of the most important Brazilian crops such as soybean, cotton, beans, cowpea, passiflora, papaya, tomato, lettuce, among others. Among the nematophagous fungi with potential of commercial utilization as agents of biological control of nematodes are the species of Monacrosporium. The predatory capacity of Monacrosporium robustum to the reniform nematode was evaluated in vitro. The percentage of predatism was 81.3%, 99.9% and 100% at 24, 48 and 72h, respectively, after inoculation.
