This study intends to analyse the international trends on social policy financial subjects. Firstly, in briefly describes somes historical and ideological aspects of the social policy in the development of the capitalist mode of production. On the second part is studied the financing of the social policy in the monopolist phase of the capitalism. The third part intends to show some trends of the social policy in underdeveloped countries, standing out the role of the state in the implementation of that policies. Finnaly, the last part analyses some implications of the economic crises of seventies and eighties in financing of the social policy.
