Abstract
This article aims at assessing the treatise Li gran tesori nascosti nelle vigne (1765) by Pietro Paolo De Maria and its Spanish translation (1777) in the framework of the circulation of technical-scientific innovation in Europe during the Enlightenment, based both on the comparison of the two texts and on a lexical study carried out through lexicographical analysis. For this purpose, we used the main lexicographical resources of Spanish and Italian language emphasizing the techniques adopted by the Spanish translator, Joseph Lafarga, when confronted with dialectal terms and local references in the source text.
