LEGENT TRANSLATION AND LITERARY EXPERIENCE IN MARIA GABRIELA LLANSOL

Abstract

This article intends to investigate the relationships between reading, translation and writing in Maria Gabriela Llansol. Between the originating language and the destination language there is the drawing of an ethical path that considers translation from a political and poetic perspective, taking into account the alterity present within all languages. The translation experience in Maria Gabriela Llansol allows us to perceive a field in which written life, without support from memory, or dispossessed of its historical fact, remains as a power to translate. We understand that reading, translation and writing are all part of the same literary project. Perhaps more, for this writer, it is a literary-political project that sustains the survival of a practice of writing and reading that addresses the places where the real of bodies and affections is no longer the guiding line of Literature.
