This paper intends to examine a possible Marxist approach to language presenting synthetically the language conceptions of some Marxist authors. The objective is, through an exposition of what is common among them, to compose a theoretical-critical thought about language, endowed with internal unity, in order to present it against dominant trends of the modern science of language.
