This article is a critical analysis from Bamboozled film, launched in 2000 by Spike Lee. In his work, particularly in this film, there are conceptual influences from two of the most important authors: Bertold Brecht and his alienation effect or "V-effekt" (from the German Verfremdungseffekt ), and Henri Bergson with his conception of laughter and its specific function and social meaning. The Spike Lee's work, opened in the modernist sense, brings a didactic-pedagogic intention about the using and the deconstruction of Eurocentric image - which has not been sufficiently examined and understood by the criticism yet.
