Desafios da gestão municipal para redução das desigualdades na cidade de São Paulo

ABSTRACT

The article makes a contribution to the discussion about the challenges of the city of São Paulo and Brazilian cities in relation to the different dimensions of inequalities. To this end, tools developed by the Sustainable Cities Institute are mobilized at local level, such as the inequality map, and at national level, such as the Sustainable Cities Development Index (IDSC-BR). In addition to the analysis of indicators and presentation on maps, the authors point out possibilities for advances in the agenda of reducing inequalities in the city of São Paulo through redistributive public policies.
