Theoretical reflection that objective to point alternatives to the teaching practice in the Courses of Graduation in Nursing, being had as base the National Curricular Lines of Direction, in Brazil. Stands out the necessity of modifications in the teaching practice and in the formation of professionals, in accordance with current requirements and, consequently, with the increasing concern in the adequacy of education / learning in a critical and reflexive way. It rescues the practice of education of the beginning of the last Century to the questionings regarding the rework of a new teaching attitude for the formation of the nurse in the current days. It is concluded that it has necessity of a movement and an intense debate so that the professors could appropriate themselves of the transformations and contribute for the formation.
