Vigotski and the Creative Processes of Teachers facing the Current Reality

Abstract:

The article addresses creativity in teaching. It is intended to contribute with reflections that support innovating practices at school. The study is anchored in historical-cultural psychology which understands human being as skilled to re-signify senses. Addressing the constitution of human beings as a creative and creator being brings options in a time in which the teacher reproduces alienation processes. The context and the experienced relations are essential for the triggering of the creative process. Both interpersonal relations and work are marked by competitiveness, individualism flexibility and quickness. Such circumstance hinders the creative potential.
