This is an analysis on learning and its relation with current technologies and school work at High School. It is part of a broader research performed during two years with students from a public High School in Maceió, the capital city of Alagoas State, Northeastern Brazil. Results from questionnaires and discussion groups are highlighted. Learning at school may have a prioritized role so as to guarantee mediating and denaturalizing information conveyed by means of these cultural artifacts, as long as objective conditions are ensured, and such information is questioned and investigated, thus contributing for teenagers and adults to have access to significant processes of knowledge apprehension.
