Evaluation of the learning as loving act: what does the teacher do?

The study makes an analysis of teachers' conceptions of the 3rd series of the fundamental teaching II of the city of Ribeirão/PE about evaluation of the learning. The research, of qualitative approach, used as collection methodology the semi-structured interview. The analysis of the data, based in the principles of the evaluation as loving act of mediation between teaching and learning protected by Luckesi, makes possible to us the conclusion of that in spite of the identification of some elements in those teachers' pedagogic action that represented reception, integration and inclusion, the evaluation significance as punctual, classificatory and selective moment is still quite evident. In that way we believe that the way to a real change in the conceptions, and consequently in those teachers' pedagogic action, is in a formation as much initial as continuous coherent with that pedagogic proposal.
