ABSTRACT:
This article was elaborated with the objective of analyzing the process of institutionalization of racial relations education in schools that composes the Network Federal the Education of Professional, Scientific and Technological. In order to carry out the analysis, we constructed some criteria based on the document related to the National Plan of the Curricular Guidelines for Ethnic-Racial Relations Education and for the Teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture - of 2009. These criteria were applied in a analysis that considered the Plan the Development Institutional (PDI) of the selected schools. This made possible the realization that there is a very low level of institutionalization of the education of ethnic-racial relations in the schools that compose this modality of education.
