Abstract
The article addresses the connection between associativism and the production of elites in the Judiciary and the Public Prosecutor’s Office. By comparing the career paths of the presidents of the state associations in these professions, the relationship between holding the presidency and occupying high-ranking positions in the top courts and state public prosecutor’s offices was analyzed comparatively. The occupation of other prominent positions within these institutions and within national associations was also considered. The results indicate the significant importance of the associative space in the production of leadership within these institutions, with relevant historical and regional variations.
