Abstract
This text aimed to discuss some concerns about the process of spectacularization of the literary-intellectual writer, increasingly involved by multimedia resources. At times, intellectual writers of Letters operate in favor of communication vehicles in which they seek to disseminate their critical and theoretical work, while at the same time seeking to place themselves in evidence, albeit unconsciously, as a form of resistance to times of polarization such as the ones we live in today. In the scenario of contemporary digital society, there is a new (another) role assumed by the literary intellectual writer who has been dialoguing with another public, outside the academy, and whose perceptions about literature and the society of the present have permeated his writings.
