Abstract
In A Céu Aberto, by João Gilberto Noll (1996)NOLL, João Gilberto (1996). A céu aberto. São Paulo: Companhia das Letras., the operation of excess, as well as its close connection with homoeroticism, establishes a symbolic game that concentrates, within the erotic intimacy of the text, a character that fractures into several others, in order to break with the stillness of the body. In this way, we have a narrator who, in the constant excessiveness of sex, authorizes what is underneath, cast on the ground — the excrement, the viscous liquids that flow from the body, among others — to occupy a central place in the plot.
