abstract
The text analyzes the writing of female inmates in the state prison system of Sergipe, created as a cultural intervention by the local collective of artists known as Penarte in 2012, when the total prison population totalled 239 women. The book format then given to the authorial narratives of prisoners configures a privileged corpus for research about the configuration of discursive practices (Foucault), as well as in the modes of appropriation of the lyrical genre in regards to its diction.
