Abstract
Personal data is used for the most diverse economic and political purposes, making it essential that the ability to guarantee your privacy is also improved. This research aims to analyze the flow of information in the enlistment process in the electoral register of the Regional Electoral Court of Santa Catarina in the light of the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data. In addition to being characterized as qualitative and descriptive, this research is a case study, in terms of procedures, a bibliographical research is carried out and the questionnaire was used as a collection instrument. The results revealed significant gaps in General Law for the Protection of Personal Data compliance, covering transparency, quality, security and access to personal information. Based on these results, strategic, tactical and operational guidelines were proposed to improve the flow of information in electoral enlistment.
