In this paper we analyzed the discourse of twenty Physics teachers in an activity proposed in a training distance learning course. After reading an academic text, teachers should post in a discussion forum, an excerpt from the text selected by them, together with a commentary and postioning. The analysis sought evidence of how teachers recontextualize and position themselves in relation to the academic discourse, the official discourse, and especially in relation to the project of national curriculum. It was possible to identify the positioning of 19 teachers. The majority (13 teachers) defends the national curriculum though recontextualized to meet regional diversity. Only six are against the official curriculum proposal rightly criticizing their supposed character of national curriculum.
