STUDENTS’ ASSESSMENT ABOUT THE PRACTICE TO PRODUCE RECORDS OF SCIENCE EDUCATION ACTIVITIES

In this research, we present a students' assessment about the practice to produce records of Science Education Activities. We wonder if students value the production of records, and how they justify their interests or disinterests in this practice. Our data were generated by analyzing the responses of 196 students to a questionnaire course evaluation. In this process we use typical statistical analysis of quantitative research methods, but we also produced an analysis of utterances inspired in the Bakhtin's Philosophy of Language and in Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar. Our data shows that most students claims to have made records with attendance and interest. Moreover, they ascribe various functions to records.
