Resumo:
A maioria dos países africamos, enfrentam um estado de subdesenvolvimento crónico. A pauperização da população atinge números alarmentes sobretudo no meio rural. As populações rurais tentam alterar tal quadro e enfrentar o isolamento decorrente das grandes distâncias físicas e culturais. Contudo basta observar seus hábitos para constatar que estas comunidades detêm uma certa cultura científica solidamente arraigada em valores sociais e que infelizmente muitas vezes se choca com a cultura científica e tecnológia ocidental.

Abstract:
Most of the African countries are underdeveloped. The poverty is very deep in rural areas. The rural populations try to get out of this situation, facing the isolation derived from great cultural and physical distances. However, by observing these people's habits we verify that these communities have a particular scientific culture that is based in social values, and, that, unfortunately, goes against the occidental scientific and technological culture.
