ABSTRACT:
This paper aims to show YAE (Young Adults Education) students' expectations related to their future and to social representations regarding their education. These are important informations so we can understand YAE student's interpretation about this aspects and how that interpretation will guide their conduct. Furthermore, this paper seeks to contribute to the adoption of a practice that includes teaching subjects that meet the diverse expectations of these students. The methodology used was content analysis with the aid of Atlas.ti software. The results reveal a variety of expectations of students about their instruction, ranging from personal to professional gains, with the highlighted expectation of studying in a university.
