TECHNOLOGICAL SCIENTIFIC LITERACY: A NEW PARADIGMA?

Abstract:

The objective of this paper is to broaden the discussion regarding the so-called Technological-Scientific Literacy. In this sense, the need to surpass the preliminary and disciplinary teaching is postulated. It has been discussed, as curricular configuration, the progressive substitution of the conceptual by the thematic approach. Such approach is based on the presuppositions of Paulo Freire (the Brazilian educator) as well as on the movement of Society-Technological-Science.
