ARTICLE-OPINION - SCIENTIFIC BUILDINGS IN TERRITORIES OF TRADITIONAL PEOPLES: RECIPES FOR SCIENCE EDUCATION

ABSTRACT:

This text dialogues, complements and brings practical form to scientific education with the article by Alan Alves-Brito and Kaleb Alho (2022) called Education for ethnic-racial relations: an essay on subalternized alterities in the physical sciences. The way I do it seeks to implement decolonial principles and actions in science research and teaching. Imagination, practice, experience and teaching are elements articulated to propose a classroom recipe that constitutes counter-hegemonic epistemes. This proposal contains the CTSA approach, the methodology of the three pedagogical moments and the didactic strategy of the simulated debate. With this reflection, the result of an effort to break the double blind from an original article, I hope to give shape to the possibilities of working with territorial and ethnic-racial conflicts that have in the construction of scientific buildings in territories of traditional peoples their problematizing element.
