This paper introduces the concept of intuitive thinking of Rudolf Steiner. The rational thinking only reaches one level of apprehension of reality. Through a phenomenological observation of thinking, the intuitive quality of thinking becomes possible. The product and producer are in unity in this observation. The subject's self-education is the process of education toward freedom. So the achievement of the intuitive level requires a cognitive improvement through a heuristic path. Acting in the world based on intuitive awareness is the foundation of a higher ethic. The subject may establish authentic guidelines for his action when he educates himself.
