This text, by bibliographic revision, presents an analyzes about skill of teacher's work as a producer and product of social construction. In addition, it discusses the social condition which had been experienced by male and female teachers resulting in different recognitions of male and female teachers' skills. Moreover, the skill of male and female teachers has been conditioned by the processes of public instruction organization, the external factors of the school and the experiences and knowledge of the individuals, which had been acquired by them throughout their lives.
