EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND THROUGH PEDAGOGY OF ALTERNATION: A PROPOSAL IN MOVEMENT AND AS A MATTER OF DISPUTE

ABSTRACT

This article deals with pedagogy of alternation. Understanding education as an object of class struggle, it seeks to consider the possibilities of alternating education being taken as an integrated teaching strategy. Uncritical or pseudo-critical views that comprehend pedagogy of alternation, respectively, as a pedagogy of social emancipation or as a training strategy at the service of the interests of capital are problematized. Based on a literature review, it is argued that training through alternation should be understood as a training strategy in motion and as a matter of dispute. In this sense, it stands as a possibility of organizing training that can serve both the interests of workers, the integration of knowledge, and the interests of capital, an instrumental training, depending on the political project to which it is subordinated. The paper concludes by stating that there is not only a single way to employ the Pedagogy of Alternation, but different possibilities of using it in the training of workers.
