The objectives were to raise among students: a) which aspects of an University of the Third Age were appreciated and which were not; b) which aspects were considered easy or difficult; and c) possible differences among groups. A planned interview was used with 24 subjects divided into three groups: former students, present students and freshmen, aged 46 to 80. The results were submited to statistical and thematic content analysis.The most valued experiences were: theoretical subjects, themes and activities, also considered the easiest ones. Few difficulties or nonappreciated aspects were reported, prevailing a positive evaluation ofthe University.
