ABSTRACT
Wood-Cement bonded particleboard made with particles treated with CCA were compared with the control, without treatment, as for the inhibition index and physical-mechanical properties. The results showed the technical viability of the production of panels with particles of rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis Müell. Arg.) treated with CCA. The preservation process was highly significant in the improvement of the boards quality (as detected by the hydration index). All the properties reached the specifications for this type of panel.
