ABSTRACT
This article presents some thoughts in social forestry. Each social science has a unique perspective and methodology to contribute to our understanding of social forestry, practices, but the main point is to select professionals with knowledge and commitment to forest and rural communities. The main objective of this article is to add to the needs and concepts in social forestry.
