Quality of seedlings of four forest species produced in different tubes

Abstract

The quality of seedlings of Anadenanthera macrocarpa Benth. Brenan, Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi, Cedrela fissilis Vell. e Chorisia speciosa St. Hill produced in tubes with volumes of 280, 180, 115 e 56 cm3 were. Through the growing analysis and its morphologic characteristics, it was known that, through 180 days, the seedlings that had been cultivated in tubes for seedlings presented, in a general way the following aspects. It was observed growing and morphlogic characteristics that were significantly superior for the 280 cm3 tube for seedlings that didn´t reflect in a larger growing through 180 days after the field sowing. In these stipulated conditions, it was also realized that there were no significant differences in the survival of plants from different tubes for, except for Cedrela fissilis Vell.
