ABSTRACT
This paper provides economical assessment for the construction of a large-scale production sawmill, to be built in Feijó or Cruzeiro do Sul, State of Acre, Brazil. The sawnmill is capable of processing fifty m3 of hardwood daily. A cash flow for the mill was made based in local market costs and revenues. Economical engineering instruments were applied in order to prove its economical feasibility.
