ABSTRACT
Environmental pressure is increasing the commerce of the tropical forestry wood in the world. Results of research and engagement of the public sector are necessary alternatives to supply the crescent market of wood. The objective of this paper is to test the plasticity and ecophysiological behaviour of the Mogno (Swietenia macrophylla, King) specie planted in the Miguel Pereira county in the state of Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
