Abstract
In order to estimate population parameters, to determine the divergence among seed trees and to improve germplasm, collect optimization on fragmented population of Euterpe edulis Mart., for the species genetic conservation, fructification traits were evaluated in 45 seed trees. The analysis of variance revealed presence of variability among seed trees and through the Mahalanobis’s distance and Tocher grouping method; 13 divergent genotypes were identified as a priority for genetic conservation.
