ABSTRACT
Wood from Gmelina arborea and Samanea saman were used for particleboard production according to 2.08-0.61 and 5.65-0.61 mm granulometry dimension. Particleboards manufactured from G. arborea with larger particles showed greater static bending , while particleboards manufactured with small particles size showed lowest thickness swelling. Particleboards made from Samanea saman (Jacq.) Merr. with larger granulometry afforded better internal bound results. It suggest that wood from both species presented satisfactory condition to manufacture particleboards.
