ABSTRACT
We report the nodulation in the nursey and in the field of Enterolobium contortisiliquum seedlings. The effect of nitrate in the seedling grow was investigated as wel. The plant respond to the inoculation, and this indicated the necessity of inoculation with selected strains of Rhizobium for this specie. The addtion of nitrate inhibited the nodulation and made no contribution to na increase in the plant weight. After 1 year and 2 months, this specie showed a considerable increase in height at the field experiment.
