BIOECOLOGIA DE Sinex noctilio FABRICIUS, 1793 (HYMENOPTERA; SIRICIDAE) EM POVOAMENTOS DE Pinus taeda L.

SUMMARY

The research’s objective was to study the bioecological aspects of Sirexnoctilio Fabricius, 1793 (Hymenoptera, Siriddae) in plantations of Pinus taeda, in the municipalities of Cambará do Sul and São Francisco de Paula, Rio Grande do Sul State. In the posture occurred from 1 to 5 holes, being 16,10% of living larva’s and 8,96% dead larva’s. The duration of pre-pupa and pupa period were 16 arid 20 days, respectively. The pre-posture and posture period were 0,71 and 3,50 days, respectively. The male longevity was 5,32 days and the female longevity was 4,07 days. The female can realize 145,46 posture process, during day and night. The number of eggs in the ovaries be conditioned on size of the female. The duration of the reproductive male cycle was 92,92 days in stem from 6,5 to 10,0 cm of external diameter. The flight took place from november to may; the population peaks occurred in april (three do five months cycle) and december (annual cycle), from proportion of male to female was 32,33:1 and, 6,42:1, respectively.
