ABSTRACT
SILVA J. de. A. Equations to estimative the composition in percentage of the volume by diameter class of Eucalyptus spp, from the Triangulo Mineiro region, Minas Gerais State.
An equation model was determined from a set of six independent-variables to estimate thepercentage/volume per hectare of Eucalyptus spp in the region of Triangulo Minéiro, in the State of Minas Gerais. The obtained model has as first independent variable the frequency of trees by class, expressed in percentage, weighted with the central diameter of respective class, an as second independent variable the presents the arithmetic average diameter. Both variables are easily measure in the field. Defined the model, ten equation were generated, one for each class of 3 cm of diameter, based on the data of 220 sample plots, with 600 m2, in stands from 3 to 9 years, in projects of 55.525 ha.
