ABSTRACT
Particleboards were produced with modified resins made by partial substitution of Urea-Formaldehyde by tannin from Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia. Three ways of extraction and two levels of synthetic resins substitution were tested. Particleboards physical and mechanical properties were measured. Results for Tickness Swelling, Modulus of Rupture and Modulus of Elasticity on Static Bending and Internal Bond are according to the Wood Particleboard Commercial Standard CS-236-66.
