ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY LAURACEAE Linal.

ABSTRACT

The present paper presents a brief review about the economic importance of family Lauraccae, which provided informations on 52 species, belonging to 12 genus, that are used in cooking, paper factoring, timber works, constructions, chemical industries and folk medicine. The genus Aniba, Ocotea and Nectandra presented the greatest number of species with economic importance.
