Adolescent substance user psychoactive: conception of professionals about network care

Abstract

This study aimed to know the conception of professionals that works in the child protection agency and in the judiciary about the care network adolescents user psychoactive substances. It was a qualitative research, which were performed semi-structured interviews with 13 professionals that worked in the assistance and justice in a city within the Rio Grande do Sul. Based on content analysis, the results showed the importance of prevention involving the family and the school, as well some difficulties experienced by professionals in the network as the high demand of adolescents, lack of human resources, communication problems between the services that are part of the network, precarious infrastructure and high turnover of professional services. It concludes that the relationship between the different spaces that adolescents participate so that care is offered in a comprehensive and cross-sectoral manner is complex, but necessary.
