ABSTRACT
The thought of Gabriel Vázquez offers a philosophical-political-legal vision, based above all on the recta ratio: the core of the Vazquecian position is identifiable in the obligation of the law and, in particular, of human law, which assumes a meaning of universality that goes beyond any legitimate authority that enacts laws. In this context, this essay examines the concept of justice as a concrete work in everyday life through the reading of works such as De Restitutione and Commentariorum ac Disputationum in primam secundae partem Sancti Thomae by Gabriel Vázquez.
