Abstract
Stefano Mancuso was the founder of the International Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology (LINV), a research institution dedicated to plant neurobiology and plant communication. Plant Revolution won in 2018 the XII Galileo Prize for scientific dissemination literary writing. The main objective of his work is to overcome the misunderstanding about the way which biology itself has been treating plants until now, as if they were inferior to animals. Mancuso unpacks pioneering botanical studies and introduces their authors to the contemporary public, giving clear outlines to his argument, which, in short, affirms that we must see in plants a future model of society.
