Sleeping, maybe dreaming: tempo, perception and resistence

Abstract

Jonathan Crary's book criticizes the continuous operation of the logic of contemporary capitalism, which has been colonizing the modes of human perception and experience. The sleep is pointed out as a resistance sign to the market fundamentalism, being able to crack the homogeneous temporality of the production and consumption cycles that regulate our lives.
