Abstract
The collection A[r]tivismos Urbanos: [sobre]vivendo em tempos de urgências proposes a reflection on the connections between art, politics and the city in recent years. The book organized by Cíntia S. Fernandes, of Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Micael Herschmann, of Universidade Federal do Rio (UFRJ), Rose de Melo Rocha, of Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM-SP) and Simone Luci Pereira, of Universidade Paulista (Unip) brings articles that deal with political dystopias, gender and/or racial contemporary debates, and the resignification of the urban areas by a[r]tvism.
