A specific group of services, knowledge intensive, internationally known as KIBS - Knowledge Intensive Business Services, has been gaining distinction in service studies because they are considered essential for the development of companies, regions and countries. Specific studies on KIBS clustering indicate a concentration of these activities in metropolitan areas, but a systematic mapping at national level is not available in the Brazilian case so far. The purpose of this research was to identify clusters of a specific type of KIBS, the Technological Knowledge Intensive Business Services (T-KIBS). To this end, the Location Quotient (LQ) of each city was calculated and a consolidated map of the clusters founded through the use of a geo-referencing software was presented. There is a high geographical concentration of these services in more developed regions, confirming the nature of intensive use of knowledge and technology. At the same time, a high dispersion of LQ values was verified, confirming the differences in service activities in relation to the type of market and the nature of production process.
